href=\"https:\/\/healthyamericanusa.org\/?p=5876\">Monthly goals are a great way of maintaining growth towards larger, long-term goals.<\/a> \u00a0They allow you enough time to make measurable progress without forcing you into a frenzy.\u00a0 Learn how to set monthly goals that will boost your productivity and potential. \u00a0Completely change your directory and create the life that you have always wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Monthly goals, broken down weekly, push you to gain momentum daily without overtaxing your already busy schedule.\u00a0 If you already have a clear vision in mind, you are two steps ahead, good job! \u00a0But let\u2019s say you don\u2019t really have a monthly goal.\u00a0 If you have a vision of where you want to be in the future, have a clear path on how you wanted to achieve them?\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have you taken any deliberate steps to achieve them?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And most importantly, have you written them down or set a deadline?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without a clear, step-by-step plan to follow, reaching even the simplest resolutions will be challenging. \u00a0Let\u2019s stop and break down how we would set these goals.\u00a0 Then, maybe we can shed some light on why this is so important.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Goal setting can look differently depending on your comfort level. \u00a0Do you often have a dream of what your future will look like? \u00a0Have you ever said, \u201cOnce I \u2014-, I will \u2014-\u201d? \u00a0These are precursors to goals. \u00a0Without a plan, a goal is just a dream. \u00a0You need to create a SMART plan to achieve them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"smart-goals-are-the-most-likely-goals-to-be-achieved\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">SMART goals are the most likely goals to be achieved.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creating a vision board is a great way to organize your different goals for each area of your life. \u00a0Vision Boards use the power of visualization and manifestation to help you set and achieve crucial goals. \u00a0These are generally big goals. \u00a0Goals will take time and planning to achieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creating a vision board and posting it somewhere visible will help you visualize this new possibility. \u00a0You have created a plan, made it real, and now you can achieve it. \u00a0Simply creating a vision board and including tangible goals has been shown to make it more likely to accomplish what you set out to. \u00a0But first, you have to put it out into the Universe. \u00a0Start with this vision board, and the path to your large-scale goals will begin to become clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s say your goal is to live a healthier lifestyle.\u00a0 It seems simple enough.\u00a0 But without a doable plan on how you want to achieve this, you will quickly slip back into old habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are different definitions of a healthy lifestyle depending on your starting point.\u00a0 An excellent place to start is a goal: simply eating better for the first month.\u00a0 Maybe your goal for the first week is not to buy any junk food on your next grocery shopping trip.\u00a0 The week after that could be to substitute fresh veggies for a bag of chips once that week.\u00a0 The following week we can make the same substitutions 3 times.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, you can commit to trying out one new \u201chealthy\u201d recipe a week.\u00a0 These goals should be clearly written out in your planner each week.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t use a planner, post them somewhere that you look every day, like on your nightstand or your bedroom mirror, to remind you of your goals each morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These simple steps are clear and well-defined. \u00a0You have either achieved them or not.\u00a0 You can feel a sense of accomplishment when you cross the item off your list.\u00a0 Using a planner really is the best way to set and achieve goals. \u00a0It will help you track your progress, but it will help you better track your time and obligations, increasing your productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"breaking-down-a-big-goal-into-tiny-pieces-makes-it-more-attainable\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Breaking down a big goal into tiny pieces makes it more attainable.\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No matter how committed you are to buying that gym membership and working out 5 days a week, starting January 1st, chances are not in your favor.\u00a0 Expecting something so drastic from yourself is unrealistic and cruel.\u00a0 Let yourself build up to a goal that big.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many resolutions fail, not because of goal setting but because of execution. \u00a0It is important that you strive for progress in any area, NOT perfection. \u00a0Achievable setting goals is much more rewarding than trying for something beyond your reach and falling short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take baby steps,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a realistic and achievable plan,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slowly increase the difficulty and class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe you want to save more money this year.\u00a0 You should still start with the little steps that have clearly defined parameters.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start with a budget.\u00a0 Your goal for the first month can be something as simple as sticking to it.\u00a0 Or, maybe you only eat out once this week.\u00a0 Next week you don\u2019t eat out unless it was previously scheduled.\u00a0 Another week it could be no impulse buying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another route could be transferring a predetermined sum into savings.\u00a0 Try $10 the first week and $15 the second.\u00a0 Slowly increase the amounts weekly until you get to an amount that works with your budget. \u00a0These small goals all build into a larger ultimate goal, but they are things that you can apply to your life today.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tracking daily progress will motivate you to continue making progress towards progressively larger goals.\u00a0 To-do lists often have an \u201cout of sight, out of mind\u201d existence. \u00a0When you don\u2019t reflect on this list, it just doesn\u2019t exist. \u00a0Having a planner that you check and update daily will help you cross these items faster. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"the-best-part-of-goal-setting-is-the-sense-of-accomplishment-you-get-from-achieving-these-goals\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The best part of goal setting is the sense of accomplishment you get from achieving these goals.\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Breaking down big goals into tiny manageable ones allows you to make an intimidating goal reasonable. \u00a0It will also give you room to grow into larger expectations of yourself. \u00a0If you successfully save $100 this month.\u00a0 Maybe we can aim for $200 next month.\u00a0 Perhaps you were able to overshoot that goal and save $150.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How much better about yourself will you feel if you save the $100 or more that you set out to save this month than if you didn\u2019t save any of the $1,000 you wanted to save this year?\u00a0 Setting goals with no plan to achieve them is just a setup for failure. \u00a0Giving yourself a month to achieve something is a reasonable time frame without forcing yourself into an unrealistic schedule. \u00a0It also gives you some leeway.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you fall short on a goal one week. \u00a0You can still make it up by the end of the month. \u00a0The most important thing to remember is to break your monthly goals down weekly and review them daily. \u00a0This keeps them present in your mind, so you are constantly looking for ways to make progress. \u00a0This progress is what leads you to your destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are unrealistic about your goals, or the time frame in which you can achieve them, you\u2019ll never be able to reach them.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Building self-confidence will lead to<strong> <\/strong>setting more goals, which will lead to making more progress towards your dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is also a great way to practice self-discipline. \u00a0Putting restraints on yourself for spending your money or time can help you teach yourself how to say no to yourself. \u00a0It can also help you be strict regarding taking care of your responsibilities and obligations before indulging in your wants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, while you don\u2019t need an ultimate dream, of where you want your life to go to set short-term goals.\u00a0 It is a good idea to start getting into that mindset. \u00a0This year, set the goal to choose a profession or build and run a multinational company, or perhaps something closer to home.\u00a0 Having these clearly defined, long-term goals will help drive the theme of your short-term goals.\u00a0 This will give you a clear sense of direction and make massive undertakings more manageable.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Year by year, month by month, and week by week, you can tick off each of these milestones while on the path to your own personal success
